Welcome to the 2026 Optimist Youth Tackle Football Season!

 

For over 77 years, Optimist Football has served the Treasure Valley with a mission to keep football affordable, competitive, and rooted in community. We believe every child deserves the chance to play the game they love, learn life skills, and grow as a teammate and leader. Emphasis is placed on player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. All teams follow Optimist Football rules and guidelines, including minimum play requirements each half to ensure participation. All teams follow high school rules beginning at this level
